Joe Simpson, the father of Jessica Simpson, is denying rumors there is anything other than professionalism going on between him and the young man whom he was seen with in Florida.
Photos of Simpson hanging out with a male friend in Miami Beach surfaced Tuesday. Some of the snapshots showed him taking photos of his companion, who was lying in the sand.
While the pics might've raised eyebrows, Simpson took to Twitter to clear up any misconception.
Apparently, the individual in the photos is Jonathan Keith, a male model from Scotland who Simpson has been managing for five months, according to TMZ. The two were in South Beach to book modeling jobs for the up-and-comer.
This is not the first time the manager has had to quash gossip about his personal life.
In 2012, Simpson and his wife, Tina, split after more than 30 years of marriage. The divorce filing came shortly after a report published by the National Enquirer claimed he had come out as gay to his family, People magazine reported. He later denied the allegations about his sexuality, calling them "ridiculous" and untrue.
