The actor, comedian and social media guru -- not to mention one of our favorite queer icons -- stopped by "The Meredith Vieira Show" this week and the pair had an adorable kiki. At one point during the interview Vieira reenacted a recent project he did with Buzzfeed in which the actor hilariously responded to dumb questions posed about gay people.
By responding to quandaries such as "Why do gay guys always hit on me? Please stop!" with "they're not hitting on you -- they're judging your outfit," the post is a genius collaboration with the Star Trek alum.
If that wasn't enough, Vieira announces at the end of the clip that for every hug Takei receives while at the studio, the show will donate $25 to GLAAD. Check out the video above to see what happens.
